The refresh begins with an evolved logo and visual presentation designed to better reflect the station’s modern rock DNA. Inspired by heritage alternative and rock brands, the updated look reinforces X Lounge Radio’s identity while keeping the focus where it belongs, on the music.
Behind the scenes, X Lounge Radio completed a full library audit, rebuilding rotations and artist balance from the ground up. Rather than chasing trends or bloated playlists, the 2026 refresh emphasizes intentional curation, smarter separation, and long-term listener comfort.
The result is a library that blends modern and legacy rock without fatigue, giving each song and artist room to breathe.
X Lounge Radio’s updated sound is anchored by a deliberate mix of familiar rock staples and emerging artists, blending trusted classics with new voices shaping the future of modern rock. Afternoons from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Central Time are led by the highly rated John and Heidi Show, combining personality-driven moments with a strong musical backbone to carry listeners through the workday and drive home hours.
